The material that is used to build most houses contains an enormous amount of chemicals either in the drywall or the grout. You don’t want this wafting into your breathing space. Most people don’t feel like new builds need their air ducts cleaned. But I’ve seen so many ducts that are filled with construction dust because while the home is being constructed, the air is running for the contractors and collects quite a bit of that construction dust.
