FAQs

How often do I need a full home air duct cleaning?

NADCA recommends you have your home’s ducts cleaned every 3-5 years. If you have pets, asthma, or allergies, you should aim for the lower end of that range. Because people often put this project off and dust can build up and even mold can form, I also fog sanitize your duct lines after cleaning them to remove any contaminants.

how often do I need to clean my dryer vent?

Your dryer vent should be cleaned out every 1-2 years. Going too long can create a fire hazard and more work on your dryer if the line becomes clogged. I clean your dryer duct line in its entirety, whether that’s on the outer wall of your home or on your roof. I make sure to remove all dust and leave a clean environment, and ensure the air flow is strong on the dryer line when I’m done.

Are you qualified to work on older home’s?

Absolutely. I have removed and rebuilt / installed duct systems in older homes and helped with a variety of restoration projects. For an older home in Queen Creek, AZ to Phoenix and East Valley Arizona homes, rest assured that I follow NADCA (industry) standards, am licensed/insured, and will inspect for fragile materials (old duct tape, asbestos) before cleaning.

why should I consider attic insulation?

This one project makes a huge impact on a home’s efficiency. Great attic insulation keeps cool and warm air inside your home, not escaping through the roof. If you have minimal insulation in your attic (builder grade or your home is old and the old insulation has shrunk down), your HVAC can run all day trying to cool the home but all the while it’s escaping through the roof. When I blow in insulation you will experience a cooler in the summer, and a warmer home in the winter. This can significantly help your homes efficiency and lower your A/C bill.
